There has been no metro in Vietnam, but I already had the chance to travel by MRT in Singapore for a few weeks. With that in mind, I came to London to find myself rather disappointed.
1. No doors to protect passengers from the open platform or from the coming train. People always feel like they are in a tunnel. No wonder why they call it the Tube.
2. Stations look so different from one to another. There is no uniform standard. One is like a castle, one is like a bird cage. You can certainly tell which is which without looking at the name in a short time!
3. Food and drink are not prohibited on the train and in the station. Londoners must have a high tolerance! Now I can definitely have my lunch on the way from the class at Regent Street to another at Harrow.
4. There is no mall integrated in stations. Retailers definitely have no sense for business.
5. What are all of these QUOTES OF THE DAY? For real? Chicken soup for the soul in scribbles? I absolutely don’t need that.
6. Mind the gap! Mind the gap! Mind the gap! It’s really stuck in my mind now.
In short, London is so about human life. Wake up, it’s time to turn industrial!
